Doing Better Business
A programme to help local businesses become smarter, greener, more efficient and better able to access the support available to them.
‘Doing Better Business’ aims to build relationships between local business, support agencies, business groups and local governement. Through a wide range of local events including business networking, training, workshops and seminars; local companies can work with, and learn from each other for the benefit of the wider economy.
Each year, best practice is highlighted at the Brilliance in Business Awards. Companies are recognised companies for their achievements within their core business and in a number of specialist areas including investment in the workforce, enterprise and innovation, entrepreneurship, development of technologies and green policies.
